Advice for replacing a hose spigot (/bibb/tap) : HomeImprovement

I’ve got a leaky spigot, and I’d like to replace it. It seems like it should be just “remove and replace”, but I have a few questions. First, here’s a picture album showing the leaky spigot and the inside line:

My questions:
– Where should I put the bracing wrench on this when removing it? (I should note the pipe in the wall has some movement when jiggling the spigot by hand).

– How do I determine which replacement part will fit?

Thanks for any help!
