Block home in Florida.
My brother bought a house (yay!) and now the fun part starts: fixing what the previous owner did to the house.
Our first big project is going to be taking down this stone wall. As you can see from the pictures we’ve tried a few things but it’s extremely slow going and we don’t want to damage the block behind it.
Has anyone here had any experience with this type of stone wall (can you tell what kind it is? It kind of crumbles when you get to it but the grout is VERY strong) and do you have any tips on taking it down? We don’t mind redoing the drywall, we knew we’d have to anyway.
We appreciate any help/input.
