Hello, new homeowner here. I have minimal painting experience, but the lady and I managed to paint the living and dining rooms without issue. So on to the Man Cave I went! Admittedly it was somewhat of a rush job, since carpet was being installed the next day. I took enough time taping that most of it turned out fine, except for the wall to wall masking.
As you can see, it’s a pretty rough surface and a lot of paint bled under the tape. This is the worst of it, but how do I go about fixing this so it’s at least a passable edge? Is there better tape to use on rough surfaces? Or perhaps an edge painting tool like this would perform better?
