Coving a curved wall : HomeImprovement

I’m putting up some coving and trying to think of the best way to fit it on my curved wall. It’s the plaster coving type so I can’t bend it without it breaking. I obviously need to get the front of the coving to match up but then there’s a gap either top or bottom. I was thinking to put filler on the curved wall to compensate for the bend but it’s tricky figuring out how much to put.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Also when coving a curve, do I need ensure the piece is flush with the other piece or against the ceiling and wall?
