Cracks in Exterior Paint : HomeImprovement

I recently had the exterior of my house painted. The siding is admittedly old and in bad shape (house is around 40 years old).

They sprayed with two coats of SW Duration.

Now that the paint job is done, there are still small cracks in the paint in a lot of places. I pointed some out and he went over some areas again with mixed results. Should I push the issue with the painter?

When we did the walk around for the estimate, I was told they would back roll. The contract said they would “back roll as needed” but I don’t believe any back rolling was actually done. Would back rolling have helped prevent this? Or is it probably just that the siding is old and crappy?
