Dryer vent duct bent : HomeImprovement

I just got a new dryer today and when installing the new semi-rigid vent hose, I found that the duct leading to the outside of the house is somewhat deformed at the bottom. It’s a large enough deviation from a circle that foil tape isn’t working and it’s venting some of the hot air and moisture back into the laundry room. I’m not handy enough that my wife would trust me with replacing something that goes through and outside wall, but was wondering if there are any other options to help seal that area (i.e. Great Stuff) that aren’t a potential fire hazard? Rudimentary diagram below showing the issue (black is the duct, and gray is the vent hose).https://i.imgur.com/qaGYeOz.jpg
