I am putting an accent wall in my sons room and in the process trying to hide an attic access door a bit.
We are putting a thinner trim around this attic access door to hide it into an accent wall. But after taking off the original door molding, I realized the builder didn’t drywall all the way in, just had some spare molding nailed in to hold up the trim.
I’ve never worked with drywall, only small hole patches. How can I easiest address the right side of this door casing so I can include a thinner piece of trim?
