So I just bought this house and it has a sunroom which is not fully finished. But has a deck built on top of it.
When looking at it up on the deck it seems very level with a low slope cose to the bubble. upon taking down the paneling in the ceiling i found out that the edge board is taller than the framing studs. See picture. AND is screwed down in places making it puddle and drip through the roof!!!!
I took up a few deck boards on the roof and they seem fine but lots of foam insulation and screws.
How would you salvage this roof?
is it possible to lay down TPO or rubber then put the deck birds back over it to stop the leaks? or should the whole thing be trashed and rebuilt?
