How can I repair this seemingly poorly-built deck? Boards removed, possible overspanning : HomeImprovement

We purchased this house recently which had undergone a revision with the previous owner. As is typical, it was a “I know a guy who can do that” scenario.

The first thing I noticed was not all the boards were fastened, which made it easy to remove them all. Then I realized there was no gravel over the plastic (already ordered). Now I have concerns with future sagging.

Is there anything I can do now with the boards removed to improve the quality of this deck as far as supports?
