Hi! We are in the process of painting our bedroom, and are not sure what to do with this crack (a little more than a foot long) in our plaster ceiling. As you can see in the second picture, part of it hangs down just a little from the other half. The rest of the ceiling does not look/feel like it’s sagging. Through searching around, I’ve seen that we could make the crack bigger and then use spackling or joint compound to fill the crack. Our concern with this is that we have a textured ceiling, so this would definitely stand out.
Are there any other methods that people have tried? Or should we just live with the crack, or deal with having a small section of non-textured ceiling?
Appreciate any advice!
