So, it's getting hot. My patio is huge, exposed to sun 90% of the day, and gets extremely hot in the summer. Not to mention, that huge slab of concrete heats up the kitchen it sits directly against.
Also notice the neighbors house, up on a hill, looking directly on our patio from their kitchen.
I'm looking for options on how to solve both of these issues, relatively affordable. This is my first house so I'm both lacking in skill and funding, but I am learning as I go. Any ideas that can help me out?
I'm thoroughly considering sun sails, but not exactly sure where I need them and how I should install/place them.
The sun comes from the bottom left corner (image wise) and sets in the back right corner after igniting my house in flames.
Thanks in advance!
