We just spent a good chunk of cash on re-flooring 2500 sq ft with LVP and carpet. We are really happy with the floor and carpet but the shoe moulding looks terrible (we think). Aside from some minor damage to the door frames here and there which we can restain, we were forewarned that the wood wouldn’t be able to stained to match and have a fair amount of variance in it. Seeing it in, the color I can live with, but some areas just look really awkward. Not sure if our expectations are too high or if this is truly bad shoe.
