My neighbor’s roof funnels rain water to this corner and it dumps out right by the side of my house. Both sides are angled so it hits this corner, and POURS down like a giant spout at a water park. We have a french drain nearby that collects some of the water, but it backs up and also picks up a lot of debris along the way blocking the drain and eventually the water is against our house.
I haven’t seen a lot of rooflines like this so I’m not sure where this water should be going, but it doesn’t seem like pouring off onto my property is correct. is there something I can suggest they do that might help prevent this that would be the equivalent of gutters, making it easy to redirect the water? Or should I try and add another/better french drain?
