Last fall we had a nice new paver patio put in, which sits right under an enormous maple tree – and in the springtime, that maple tree absolutely RAINS these little yellow buds down. And after about a week of these buds covering a big part of the patio (so densely that I needed to shovel them off) and sporadic rain that really created a big maple-bud-mush on top of the pavers, about half of the patio is now stained and discolored.
Blasting it with a garden hose hasn’t done a thing. I’ve read mixed info about power washing a paver patio, because I know it can weaken the seams between stones and blow out some of the sand etc.
Anyone have this issue before and/or any thoughts on how to sort this out?
