Old Craftsman saw still usable? : HomeImprovement

So my father had this saw in his basement still in the shrink wrap for what has to be like 10-15 years. He never got around to using it. Is this something I can open up set up and use for work around my house? Or is it so old that finding parts/blades for it might be hard? I’m sure I can use it for a bit, but since it’s been sitting for many years would there be any concern of failure or safety issues?

Just want to know if it’s something I should put together, make space for, and bolt down to be a fixture in my shop or is it likely to stop being usable sooner rather than later and not have the ability to fix it? I have no table tools like this so not sure what the rules are when using these versus hand power tools.
