My fiancée and I are in the process of buying a home in Chicago and we had our inspection today. All of the repairs were very doable but there was an issue with the roof that needs fixing. We are not sure what to expect as far as cost of repair or if it’s a huge issue. Click here for a picture.
The inspector obviously recommended that we get this issue fixed but if the seller doesn’t cover the cost, would the lovely people of r/HomeImprovement expect this to be a costly repair/difficult job? To me the repair doesn’t seem that difficult but some peace of mind is always appreciated.
