Replacing a Sink Faucet : HomeImprovement

Here are photos of everything you’d need to know about what I’m doing:

I live in a tiny studio apartment that used to be a hotel back in the 1900s. I am attempting to replace the sink faucet with one I ordered from eBay. So far what I’ve done is turned off the water and I tested it by turning the knobs on and no water came out, so that’s a good start I suppose. But…The tools I have are very limited although it seems pretty straight forward for the most part.

My main issues:

  • The tools I have aren’t working to remove the bolt from either sides of the hot/cold hose. I tried with all my strength and I couldn’t remove them.

  • I don’t know what I’m doing and I don’t want to break anything and cause a big mess

That’s about it. Any/all help is welcome and appreciated.
