I noticed my gutter was not sloped properly (in one area), causing water to collect. Removed the aluminum wrap and found rotted wood. Moisture and yellow jackets in there tearing things up.
Current plan is to attempt to reattach new wood to the brick with tapcon screws and then re-wrap new wood with aluminum wrap like before, then reinstall gutter at the correct pitch. Does this seem like the right plan of action? Anything else to keep in mind?
Do you know what that aluminum wrap is called? Can’t seem to find it.
