The answer is “ possibly”. Some manufactured trusses will have tags on them such as “ bearing point” right where it meets the support wall. However, many trusses are designed as clear span, and need no support in the middle. This should be treated as a bearing wall, until a structural engineer determines it’s not. The double wall studs make sense now because it’s between units, to it was for a fire separation code thing. Shore up wall until an engineer can look at it. Get an attorney to get damages from them, and kick their ass to the curb. To fix it if it is bearing would be to install a header/ beam to span the opening.
